The 2025 Melbourne International Open took place from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 April at the Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre in Victoria. Just 1 week after the 2025 Fuel to Go & Play Judo WA State Championships, WA’s judoka continued their momentum on the national stage.
Athletes representing WA clubs delivered another strong performance across a wide range of age categories and divisions, with multiple athletes stepping onto the podium and demonstrating the strength of Western Australian judo.
In total, WA competitors secured 7 gold, 1 silver, 5 bronze, and 1 fifth-place finish, with others putting up strong efforts in highly competitive fields.
