WHAT IS THE WA FUTURES CAMP?
The WA Futures Judo Camp is an annual event designed to nurture and develop the next generation of Western Australian judoka. This immersive three-day camp offers young athletes the opportunity to enhance their judo skills through a combination of intensive training sessions, educational lectures, and fun social activities. Tailored to judoka aged 13-20 (precadet, cadet, and junior age groups), the camp provides a supportive environment that emphasises teamwork, discipline, and high-performance pathways. By bringing together state-level athletes, the camp aims to break down barriers and enhance accessibility to top-tier coaching, bridging the gap between regional athletes and national standards. Set in a scenic location, the camp balances rigorous training with engaging activities, creating a comprehensive and rewarding experience for all participants.
